Information We Collect

Calculator Data: All calculator inputs and outputs are processed entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your financial assumptions or analysis results to our servers unless you create an account and choose to save scenarios.

Account Information: If you create a free account (Insider or Pro plan), we collect your email address and a hashed password. This data is stored securely by Supabase, our authentication and database provider. We use your email to identify your account and may send service-related communications.

Saved Scenarios: Without an account, scenarios are saved in your browser's local storage and we have no access to them. With an account, saved scenarios (calculator inputs and AI analysis results) are stored in our Supabase database, linked to your user ID, and protected by row-level security so only you can access them.

AI Analysis: When you use the AI analysis feature, your current calculator inputs are sent to our server to generate the AI response via Anthropic's Claude API. We track the number of AI analyses per month for usage limits but do not store the prompts or responses on our servers beyond what you choose to save in a scenario.

Waitlist & Feedback: If you join our waitlist or submit feedback, we store your email address and message in our database to follow up with you.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage data such as page views, feature usage, and device/browser information to improve our service.

Cookies: We use essential cookies for site functionality and authentication session management. We may use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how our site is used.

Third-Party Services

We may use the following third-party services:

• Supabase (authentication, database, and user data storage)
• Anthropic (AI analysis processing)
• Netlify (website hosting and serverless functions)
• Cloudflare (DNS and CDN)
• Google Analytics (usage analytics)
• Stripe (payment processing — coming soon)

Data Security

Account data is stored in Supabase's cloud infrastructure with row-level security — each user can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. All data is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS connections. Calculator data for non-account users is processed entirely client-side with no server transmission.

Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at info@assessmydeal.com. Upon deletion, all saved scenarios, profile data, and usage history will be permanently removed.

Children’s Privacy

AssessMyDeal is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
